The NI1030CT is a rechargeable smart Nickel Metal Hydride battery pack built for OEM equipment that needs reliable, communicative portable power. Nine 4/3A cells in a 9-series configuration deliver 10.8V nominal and 3850mAh typical capacity, with a minimum of 3000mAh at a 3A discharge rate. Fully SMBus and SBDS Revision 1.0 compliant, the pack manages its own charging by requesting the appropriate voltage and current from any SMBus Level II or Level III smart charger. An integrated fuel gauge reports state of charge, remaining capacity, run time, cycle count, and temperature directly to the host, applying continuous compensation for cell non-linearity and environmental conditions so runtime predictions stay meaningful over the life of the pack. Four on-pack LEDs with push-button activation give operators an at-a-glance capacity reading without powering up the host device.
